Man who pleaded guilty to killing Tamara Geddes gets 20 years in prison

Owen Irving, who pleaded guilty to murder in the Tamara Geddes case, was on Friday sentenced to 20 years in prison.
 
Mr. Irving, who is 55 years old, also received a five-year sentence for conspiracy to murder when he appeared before the Trelawny Circuit Court.
 
His co-accused Tashana Young, 33, who pleaded guilty to two counts of  conspiracy to murder was sentenced to four years behind bars. 
 
Tamara Geddes was fatally shot in the community of Reserve in Falmouth, Trelawny on June 19 last year.
 
Her sister, Nadine Geddes, who confessed to hiring a hitman, was sentenced to 20 years in prison at hard labour when she appeared before the Trelawny Circuit Court on March 2.
