Tesha Miller, the reputed head of the Spanish Town-based Klansman Gang, is scheduled to stand trial in March on gun related charges.
Defence attorney, Bert Samuels, failed to convince Ms Justice Gloria Smith to release Miller on bond, during a bail hearing before the Gun Court on Wednesday
Miller, who is facing charges of illegal possession of a firearm, larceny of a motor car, and robbery with aggravation, is to stand trial on March 2.
He was charged last year, following allegations that he and two of his cronies stole a motor car from a man, in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
It is further alleged that Miller took away the keys to the car, while his cronies, who were armed, watched.
Miller has denied the allegations.
In applying for bail, Mr. Samuels argued that from the statement of the complainant, Miller was not carrying a gun, and therefore should not have been charged under the Gun Court Act.
He added that there is no evidence that Miller stole the car.
