Local Government Minister Desmond McKenzie has expressed regret at the passing of firefighter Corey Spaulding who died on Thursday in an accident at his house.
Mr. Spaulding reportedly slipped in his shower while getting ready for work and died from the trauma.
He was found unresponsive by his neighbours and colleagues who had visited his house when he failed to report to his base at the Port Royal Fire Station on time.
The Local Government Minister says Mr. Spaulding joined the Jamaica Fire Brigade in 2013 and had a passion for his job.
He expressed condolences to Mr. Spaulding's family and colleagues who are mourning his death.
