Medical Technologists are continuing their protest over their welfare and working conditions.

The Medical Technologists at Cornwall Regional, Falmouth and Savanna la-mar hospitals are upset about these longstanding concerns.

They are represented by the Union of Technical, Administrative and Supervisory Personnel.

The union's president St Patrice Ennis told Radio Jamaica News that the workers believe matters concerning them are not being treated seriously.

He said the staff members have been working without protective gear for more than two years, adding that there have been other longstanding issues as well.

Mr Ennis is calling for the Ministry of Health & Wellness to hold those responsible accountable for failure to deliver on agreements.
