Two members of Labour and Social Security Minister Pearnel Charles Jr's team are in hospital being assessed following a motor vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
Reports are that Minister Charles and his team were heading to a function about 12:20, when the back-up vehicle, a Toyota RAV4 with two passengers aboard, collided with the rear of a Honda Fit along the P.J. Patterson Highway in St. Catherine.
It is understood that the Honda Fit was travelling east in the right lane when the driver attempted to switch to the left lane and collided with the RAV4.
The driver of the Honda Fit is also being treated at hospital.
