More than 30 people were treated for injuries, including broken limbs, at Kingston Public Hospital after a public passenger bus overturned on a section of the Portmore Toll Road on Thursday morning.
Some of injured were transported to the University Hospital of the West Indies.
The crash occurred sometime after 7 a.m. when the yellow Toyota Coaster bus, with adults and children, was travelling from the direction of Portmore.
On reaching the vicinity of the wharf, the vehicle went over the guard rail and overturned in bushes.
Superintendent Winchester Watson, in charge of the Traffic Enforcement Division at the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
