National Commercial Bank (NCB), says it will extend its opening hours today and tomorrow in the wake of the problems encountered by customers with its online banking platform.
It says all branches will be open between 8:30 am-3:30 pm.
In a statement yesterday, NCB said it made headway in fixing the problems which led to account holders being denied access to salaries deposited to their accounts.
NCB came under severe pressure from account holders who were unable to conduct several transactions following a recent upgrade to the bank's online platform.
In a statement to the media yesterday afternoon, NCB said more than 95-per cent of salary files received by the end of Friday had been processed, and account holders in that batch received payments Saturday.
It said persons with accounts at other institutions are expected to receive their salaries today.
