Lyston says goodbye to US collegiate circuit

World U20 sprint relay gold medallist Brianna Lyston has officially announced her departure from the US collegiate circuit, as she said goodbye to Louisiana State University on Thursday. It was reported by Radio Jamaica Sports on May 6 that she would be entering the professional circuit.

She made the announcement in an instagram post. During her time at LSU, Lyston was an NCAA champion, 3-time SEC champion, 4-time first team All American and 3-time first team All South Eastern Conference.

Last year she was also crowned NCAA outdoor champion for the 60 metre dash as well as SEC outdoor champion in the 100 metres and SEC indoor champion in the 60 metres.
