The son of
dancehall artiste, Desmond Ballentine, more popularly known as Ninja Man, could
be slapped with murder related charges this week after he was held in St. Ann on Saturday.
The teenager was being sought by the police in connection with a murder for which his father is also charged.
He was held during a raid in Breadnut Hill Ocho Rios early Saturday morning by members of the Area Two Operations and Support Unit.
The unarmed teenager and another man were caught hiding in a store room on the premises and the alleged motor vehicle used in the murder was also found on the compound.
On March 17, Ninja Man and a group of men, including his son, were reportedly involved in a dispute with a man on Marl Road in Olympic Gardens, St. Andrew.
The police say they shot ant the man who fled.
The bullets missed the man but hit 20-year old Ricardo Johnson also known as "Ricky Trooper", killing him.
