The National Water Commission is urging its customers to carefully manage stored water as the island continues to experience rainfall which could impact water supply.
Acting Communications Manager Delano Williams says, following an initial assessment, most major water supply systems remain operational.
But Mr. Williams says a number of customers are without water due to supply disruptions caused by high turbidity levels or isolated cases of power supply issues.
"These details will be a little bit more available once our teams are able to safely access all the areas on our network. In addition, our president is encouraging customers to report, similarly, any issues that they have identified with water or wastewater supplies. We may see a further impact on water supply systems, especially for what we call surface sources, in terms of things that are either from a river or a spring," he noted.
