Administrators at Ocho Rios High School are carrying out investigations into an incident on Thursday where the principal was physically assaulted by a female student.
The incident occurred outside the principal's office.
In a 27-seconds-long video, the student is seen being restrained. It is not clear what triggered the assault.
When contacted, the administration of the school and regional director were tightlipped about the incident and referred Radio Jamaica News to the Ministry of Education.
