PNP holds 3.1% lead over JLP in latest Don Anderson poll

According to the latest Market Research-Don Anderson poll, the opposition People’s National Party has taken a three-point lead over the incumbent Jamaica Labour Party.

The poll, seeking to determine voting intentions for the September 3 parliamentary general election, conducted from August 22-26, shows the PNP with 37.6 per cent support and the JLP, 34.5 per cent, a lead of 3.1 per cent for the PNP. This is just outside the 3% plus/minus margin of error at a 95% confidence level.

The poll, commissioned by the RJRGLEANER Group, also found that 23.1 per cent of the electorate remained undecided about which party to vote for, while 4.8% remained resolute that they would not be voting.
