The St. Mary Traffic Department is investigating a fatal crash on the Tower Isle main road near the Battle Site at Rio Nuevo early Monday morning.
The crash reportedly occurred about 12:05 a.m., and involved two cars, a Toyota Axio and a Mark X, as well as a truck.
It's reported that the Axio was traveling from the direction of Ocho Rios when the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle and crashed into the truck and Mark X which were heading in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Axio died while three other persons, including his passenger and the drivers of the truck and Mark X, were injured.
