The St. Andrew South Police are searching for the suspect behind the shooting of two men on Berwick Road in the division on Monday night.
One of the victims died of his injuries.
He has been identified as 51-year-old Mark Forrester, otherwise called 'Hooka', of a Berwick Road address.
The wounded man, a 48-year-old Spanish Town resident, is in hospital.
Investigators reported that about 10:20 p.m., explosions were heard along the roadway and the police were summoned.
Two men were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were assisted to hospital where Forrester was pronounced dead.
No motive has been established in the incident.
