Seaforth High teachers still concerned about non-payment of deductions

Teachers at Seaforth High School in St. Thomas whose deductions were not paid over to various institutions are concerned over the non-payment of the sums.

The teachers say the Ministry of Education has not made good on its promise to those affected.

Radio Jamaica News was informed that the various institutions have written to the teachers stating that they are in arrears.

The teachers are to meet to discuss the way forward.

In November last year, the teachers staged two days of sit-in at the school in protest over the non-payment of deductions.
