A 65-year-old man died in a fire which destroyed his house in Old Harbour, St. Catherine Monday night.
He has been identified as Clenton Hughton.
About 11 o'clock, fire was seen coming from the building.
Residents tried unsuccessfully to rescue Mr. Hughton.
Police and fire personnel are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire.
