The sentencing of 27 year old Rashawn Bulgin who was charged for the March 7 murder of a homeless man in Montego Bay, St. James was postponed Thursday in the St. James Circuit Court.
The court was informed that his attorney Albert Morgan was ill.
Bulgin was remanded until November 24 when he is expected to be sentenced.
He pleaded guilty to the murder of Matthew Lettman when he appeared in the St. James Circuit Court on Tuesday.
It was reported that the lifeless body of Mr. Lettman was discovered about 6:25 am, along Jimmy Cliff Boulevard.
The body had wounds to the head.
A post mortem examination was conducted on April 6.
Bulgin, who was seen on video using a rock to inflict wounds to Mr. Lettman's head, was named a person of interest in the case.
He was later arrested and charged.
