Seven more COVID-19 deaths, 157 new cases

Jamaica yesterday recorded 157 new cases of  COVID-19 from 1,721 samples, with a positivity rate of 11.8 per cent.
 
There have now been 87,389 infections in Jamaica since the start of the pandemic.
 
There were also seven more deaths linked to the pandemic.
 
COVID-19 hospitalisations now number 389, of which 45 patients are severely ill while 29 are in critical condition.
