Radio Jamaica Sports understands that Johnson Charles and Alick Athanaze have been called up as replacements for the injured pair of Brandon King and Shimron Hetmyer in the West Indies squad for the three-match T20 International series against Pakistan, which bowls off in Lauderhill, Florida on Thursday at 7:00 pm Jamaica time.
It's also understood that fast bowler Shamar Joseph will be replacing Alzarri Joseph who is being rested. Pakistan have beaten the West Indies in 6 out of their 7 bilateral T20 series since 2011.
The last West Indies win over Pakistan in a T20 International was a 7-wicket victory in April 2017 at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago.
