Several boards appointed

Cabinet has endorsed appointments to several Government boards.

The companies are the Clarendon Alumina Productions Limited, Jamaica Bauxite Institute, the Jamaica Bauxite Mining Limited and the Bauxite and Alumina Trading Company of Jamaica.

The appointments are effective to August 22, 2012.

Appointments were also made to Petrojam Limited, Petroleum Company of Jamaica and Wigton Wind Farm and are effective up to August 22, 2011. 

The appointments to Clarendon Alumina Productions are Chairman Peter Millingen, Winston Hayden, Milton Brown, Mayor of May Pen, Conrad George and Joseph Cox.

Appointments to the Jamaica Bauxite Institute are Chairman Timothy Wilson and Fay Hutchinson while those to the Jamaica Bauxite Mining Limited and the Bauxite and Alumina Trading Company of Jamaica are Chairman Phillip Armstrong, Olive Smith, Coy Roache, David Minott, Delano Seiveright, Fitz-George Carty, Gary Coulton, Lloyd Bent, Peter Fakhourie and Richard Hector.

Meanwhile, Angus Gordon has been appointed Chairman of Petrojam with directors Dr. Audley Darmand, Glenford Watson, Leslie Campbell and Timothy Wilson.

The Petroleum Company of Jamaica is now chaired by Russell Hadeed with its directors being Tracy Adams, Dr. Earl Green, Desron Graham, Dwight Crawford, John Brennan, Mark Azan, Robin Russell and Steven Fong-Yee.

Those appointed to Wigton Wind Farm are Chairman Wayne Vaz while C. Lloyd Allen and William Saunders are directors.
