Six more people in Jamaica have died from COVID-19.
The death toll since the onset of the virus in March last year has increased to 1,809.
Manchester and St. Elizabeth each recorded two deaths while the others occurred in Kingston and St. Catherine.
The fatalities occurred from August 24 to September 20.
Another 10 deaths are being investigated by the Health Ministry.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 continue to decline, with 670 people now admitted, down from 700 on Tuesday.
The ministry says 97 patients are severely ill, while another 50 are in critical condition.
A two-day-old child is among 435 new cases of COVID-19 in Jamaica.
The cases were confirmed from 1,345 samples on Wednesday.
The positivity rate is 31.2 per cent.
Some 81,394 people have so far been infected with COVID-19 in Jamaica.
