A St. Catherine man charged with shooting a man with whom he had a dispute was offered $500,000 bail during his court appearance on Tuesday.
Dave Tapper, 47, appeared in the St. Catherine Parish Court on charges of wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon, using a weapon to commit a felony, and unauthorised possession of ammunition.
The bail application was made by his attorney, Akheme Harris.
It is reported that on July 18 at 11 p.m., Tapper went to the house of the complainant with whom he had a previous dispute.
He allegedly brandished a gun and fired shots, striking the man.
The wounded man was assisted to Spanish Town Hospital where he was admitted.
A report was made to the Spanish Town Police and Tapper was arrested and charged.
