A teenager is behind bars following the seizure of a homemade firearm in St. Elizabeth.
Jordane Green, 18, of Spring Park, Black River in the parish, has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
It is reported that the police were conducting an operation in Spring Park when Mr. Green was accosted at a bar.
He was searched and the firearm, which was loaded with one .44 round of ammunition, taken from him.
