Police in Suriname are searching for a gunman who fired several gunshots at the home of Health Minister Amar Ramadhin this morning.
No one was injured.
The lawmen say they have been provided with a description of the gunman by a guard at the minister's residence.
Nine spent shells were recovered.
The gunman fled the scene on a bicycle.
