The two major political parties are being put on notice, as the latest RJRGLEANER Don Anderson opinion poll indicates that disapproval ratings outweigh performance favourability for both.

When 1,201 registered voters across the country were asked to rate the performance of the two major political parties for 2024, overall 46 per cent gave the PNP a negative rating while the figure was 37 per cent for the JLP similarly.

Additionally, 30 per cent approved the JLP's performance while 18 per cent of respondents said the PNP's performance has been good.

Meanwhile, 33 percent of respondents say the JLP's performance has been average as against the 37 percent who gave a similar rating to the PNP.

Pollster Don Anderson, head of Market Research Services, believes both parties should be uncomfortable with the figures.

Groundwork for the poll was undertaken from January 29 to February 13.

It has a margin of error of ±3 percentage points at the 95 per cent confidence level.
