Assistant Commissioner Michael Phipps
DNA tests conducted on samples taken from a body found in a barrel along Industrial Terrace in Kingston, earlier this month have revealed that it is that of missing Digicel employee, Kevin Walker.
The results were returned on Wednesday.
This was confirmed by Assistant Commissioner Michael Phipps, head of the Area 4 Police.
Mr Walker, who also operated a loan business, was found dead, a day after he went missing.
His killers allegedly withdrew more than $700,000 from his bank account.
One of the suspects was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police along Nuttall Street in Denham Town, West Kingston.
