The man who was held in connection with the fatal shooting of a barber at a wake in St. Thomas three weeks ago has been charged with murder.
He is 32 year-old Desmond Williams, a mechanic of Yallahs in St. Thomas.
Mr. Williams was picked up last weekend by police in the St. Andrew South Division and later handed over to the St. Thomas Police.
Mr. Williams, who is charged with the murder of 24 year-old Farron Bailey of Knightsville in Yallahs, is scheduled to appear in the St. Thomas Parish Court on May 3.
