The 16-year-old Old Harbour
High School boy, who was
charged with the murder of his 16-year-old schoolmate Javonni Moodie, earlier
this month, is out on bail.
He was granted $300,000 bail, earlier this week, when he appeared in the St. Catherine Children's Court in Spanish Town.
On January 8 the 16-year-old boy was at the school, when he was attacked by three other boys.
Javonni Moodie was allegedly among the attackers.
The three, who were said to be members of the notorious Hundred Man Gang, reportedly beat and stabbed the accused.
However, the accused teen reportedly managed to disarm Moodie and used the weapon to stab him.
The student died on his way to the Spanish Town Hospital.
The accused boy later went the Old Harbour Police Station where he was taken into custody.
