There is tension between residents of another Spanish Town community and the police following Thursday's fatal shooting of two men during an alleged confrontation near De La Vega City.
A firearm was reportedly seized during the incident.
Residents of De La Vega City have blocked the Spanish Town bypass in the vicinity of their community which is causing significant delays for motorists.
Meanwhile, a man was killed on Young Street in Spanish Town on Friday morning.
The victim, believed to be a bus conductor, was shot sometime after 7 a.m.
Spanish Town, which falls, in the St. Catherine North Police Division has been under a State of Public Emergency since January 28.
