Founding head coach of MVP Track Club Stephen Francis says 2-time world 200 metre champion Shericka Jackson is getting back to her best physical condition, as she prepares for the 2025 season.

The 30 year old Jackson was plagued by injury last season which eventually forced her withdrawal from the Paris Olympics without competing.

Jackson has contested two races so far this season, logging the runner-up spot in the women's 60 metre event at the Queen's Grace Jackson meet on January 25 and a 4th place finish also in the 60 metre dash at the World Indoor Championship qualifying meet at GC Foster College on March 1.

Jackson has a season's best time of 7.14 seconds for the 60 metres. Francis conditioned Jackson up to 2017, before his brother Paul Francis took over her coaching duties.
