Tensions are high in Cockburn Pen, St. Andrew after a man was reportedly shot dead by the police Friday morning.
Residents set fire to debris and blocked the Waltham Park/Hagley Park Road intersection in protest.
The residents also blocked roads in the community resulting in a traffic pile-up.
The roads have since been cleared.
The circumstances which led to the killing are not known.
