Jurors concluded that the three white men who were found guilty of killing Ahmaud Arbery targeted him because he was black.
A father and son convicted of killing a black jogger in Georgia have been found guilty of federal hate crimes.
Jurors found the two white defendants, along with a third man, targeted 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery because he was black.
Gregory McMichael, his son Travis, and their neighbour William Bryan, had already been found guilty last year of Arbery's murder.
Tuesday's verdict was over a separate set of federal charges filed by the US Justice Department.
They may be sentenced to life in prison - in addition to the life sentences they already received for Arbery's murder.
Arbery was jogging in the coastal city of Brunswick when he was confronted and killed by the three men in February 2020.
