A man died in a two-vehicle collision on the Park main road in St. Elizabeth on Thursday morning.
He has been identified as 33-year-old Sandreca Thompson, a tiler of Abraham district in the parish.
Four other people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Two cars were reportedly travelling in opposite directions when they collided about 1:30 a.m.
It's not clear what led to the collision.
Mr. Thompson, who was driving one of the cars, was pinned inside the wreckage for over an hour before being removed by firefighters.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
Speeding is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
