Transport Minister Daryl Vaz is meeting this morning with transport groups in an attempt to resolve the issues which led to yesterday's withdrawal of service by the operators.
Public transport operators are disgruntled over the impending demerit points system under the Road Traffic Act under review, which they have described as unreasonable.
The major service withdrawal by bus and taxi operators yesterday left students and other commuters stranded.
Transport Minister Daryl Vaz says a review of the new Road Traffic Act will be completed by the end of this month.
He said on Monday that discussions will continue with transport operators on the matter.
