The trial of Andre Ruddock, the man accused of slashing the throat of a woman during an alleged church ritual in St. James, close to three years ago, is to get underway on October 22.
The trial is expected to end on November 11.
The trial dates were confirmed on Monday, when Mr. Ruddock appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
He was taken into custody by the police following a bizarre series of events that ended in the deaths of the two people, one of them Taneka Gardner. Mr. Ruddock reportedly confessed to killing Ms. Gardner.
A man identified as Michael Brown was also found dead on the compound of the church on October 17, 2021.
Mr. Ruddock and Ms. Gardner were both members of Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries, headed by the late Dr. Kevin Smith.
