Police in Trinidad are investigating the circumstances regarding the discovery of human remains in the backyard of a house in an upscale residential area yesterday.
It was reported that the bones buried near a tree in a shallow grave behind the family home are believed to be that of 18-year-old Hannah Mathura, who had never been reported missing.
Senior Superintendent Richard Smith said she may have been missing since 2017.
He said eight other people were found in the house at the time, and the police are searching for a male relative who they believe was responsible for burying the teen's body.
