Radio Jamaica News has been informed that two of the five people arrested in connection with last week's major ammunition find in St. James, have been charged.
They have been charged in relation to lottery scamming after material connected to scamming activities was found in their possession.
This was confirmed by Superintendent Eron Samuels, head of the St. James Police.
The other suspects remain in custody under investigation for alleged gun running.
The five were arrest last Thursday when members of the security forces conducted a raid at a premises in Cambridge and seized 347 rounds of ammunition along with 11 magazines.
The ammunition and magazines were discovered at the back of the yard; hidden in buckets in a tree.
