The two policemen who were detained last week in connection with the controversial killing of three men along Windward Road in East Kingston, over a week ago, have been charged.
The policemen were charged on the weekend following a ruling by the Director Public Prosecutions.
Corporal Mark Roye and Constable Kelby White have been charged with three counts of murder, using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm within 40 yards of a public thoroughfare.
They have also been charged with placing an item on the scene of a crime and willfully lying to the Commissioner of Police.
The Independent Commission of Investigations launched a probe into the matter after questions were raised about the fatal shooting of 17 year-old Oshane Stubbs, Orando Campbell, 19, and 20 year-old Kayshawn Smith on November 10 along Windward Road, East Kingston.
The cops said at the time that two illegal guns were seized, reportedly in a confrontation with the men about two o'clock in the morning.
The policemen are being represented by attorney-at-law Peter Champagnie, KC.
