The St. Ann police are continuing their search for the two suspects behind the killing of a taxi operator and his passenger in the vicinity of Greenwich Acres in Mammee Bay on Wednesday.
The victims have been identified as 29-year-old Ricardo Hoo Fung, otherwise called 'Ricky', a taxi operator of Harrison Town in Ocho Rios, and 41-year-old Garry Palmer, a correctional officer of Hazelwood, Bamboo, both in St. Ann.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that the police are following several leads, which could lead to the capture of the suspects.
It was reported that about 1:45 p.m. on June 25, two men boarded a taxi in St. Ann's Bay. At the time, Mr. Hoo Fung was behind the wheel and Mr. Palmer seated in the back.
On reaching the Greenwich Acres entrance, the suspects requested a stop, alighted the car, and opened fire hitting the driver and passenger who died at the scene.
The suspects escaped in a waiting motor car which sped off in the direction of Ocho Rios.
