The Union of Clerical Administrative and Supervisory Employees - UCASE - says it met with workers from four hotels on Saturday as the union seeks bargaining rights on their behalf.
The meeting follows a series of protests by hotel workers over low wages and working conditions.
The meeting was held in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
UCASE President Vincent Morrison told Radio Jamaica News that the workers indicate that they want to be represented by his union on a number of issues: "Liveable wage, trade union representation, decent work, huosing, fixed term (contracts), the gratuity payment, which, over time has assisted in the base wage of workers in the sector."
He said a follow-up meeting should take place soon.
