A US$19 million US contract is to be signed today for the start of the Constant Spring Road Improvement Project.
It will be signed at midday at the Office of the Prime Minister.
The road between Dunrobin Avenue and Long Lane will be improved under the contract. The programme of works includes primarily the widening from two to four lanes, improved traffic management as well as an upgrade of the storm water drainage system.
The project is expected to be completed within 18 months.
