RJR News has been informed that Wisynco Group has withdrawn its lawsuit against the Heart Foundation of Jamaica.
The matter was withdrawn in court Tuesday morning.
Wisynco has agreed to pay the Heart Foundation's legal costs.
It is reported that the Heart Foundation has agreed not to make any further public postings about Wisynco's products.
Wisynco had moved to block the Heart Foundation from repeating information it posted on social media aimed at warning Jamaicans about the dangers of excessive sugar intake.
The information was posted on Instagram last month as part of a public education campaign, dubbed 'Are You Drinking Yourself Sick?'.
