The body of a 54-year-old woman was found in Shirehampton, Manchester on Tuesday morning with a wound to the head.
The body also had a knife wound to the neck.
A suspect has been questioned by the police.
It is reported that the woman left a shop in the community about 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
Her body was discovered Tuesday morning along the roadway in the community.
Shirehampton is near Maidstone, just outside Mile Gully.
