By Prince Moore

The woman who was charged with the stabbing death of her common-law husband during a domestic dispute in Westmoreland four years ago was found not guilty in the Westmoreland Circuit Court.

Moneph Cephas was freed of the murder charge on Wednesday.

She was charged with the murder of 27-year-old Kemar Williams.

It's reported that Williams, a labourer of Prospect district in Frome, and his girlfriend of Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, got into a heated argument at their home in a section of Frome called Red Hills.

It is further reported that Williams started to beat his girlfriend, who allegedly used a knife to stab him in the upper body.
