R Allen Stanford revokes power of attorney given to girlfriend

R Allen Stanford has reportedly facilitated the delivery of a revocation notice to his one-time girlfriend, Andrea Stoelker — seeking to relinquish her power of attorney privileges over the Stanford Development Company (SDC).

A report states that his attorney did not know Stanford’s reasons for issuing the revocation.

The attorney reportedly said he has seen the deed of revocation.

Stoelker was not a director of SDC, but had the power to act as a shareholder in Stanford’s stead.

Stanford is currently serving a 110-year federal prison sentence in the United States, after being convicted of multiple charges of fraud stemming from a US $7 billion Ponzi scheme he was convicted of heading.
