On TuesdaySix passengers survived a plane crash in Black Point, Exuma after the landing gear of a Flamingo Air nine-seater reportedly failed.
The plane was said to ahve been caught up in "extreme crosswinds" while attempting to land.
The aircraft slid some distance along the runway before coming to a stop.
The crash comes less than two months after another Flamingo Air nine-seater crash-landed at Staniel Cay Airport.
