All set for National Junior Boxing Championship

Boxers from seven gyms including defending champions St Thomas Gym are down to compete at the 4th annual national junior boxing championships this Saturday at the Stanley Couch Gym starting at 7:00 pm.

The other gyms that will be represented are Bruising Gym, Seaview Boxing Gym, Sugar Knockout, newcommers Trench Town Boxing Gym, Punching Tech from Sav La Mar and home team Stanley Couch.

According to Kingsley Goodison, the Jamaica Boxing Board director in charge of amateur boxing: “Thinks are shaping up good because I am surprised to see how many young boxers are interested and will be taking part. I would really like the public to come and watch these youngsters,” said Goodison.
