Sayeed Bernard, the attorney representing Ebony Drysdale-Daley has blasted the Jamaica Judo Association over its handling of the disciplinary matter involving the judoka. Bernard says the actions of local judo's governing body have robbed Drysdale-Daley of an Olympic dream.
Drysdale-Daley was suspended in mid-June by local judo's governing body after she publicly criticized the association for not registering her for what would have been her final Olymypic qualification event.
Ashley McKenzie will represent Jamaica in judo at the Olympics in Paris by virtue of outscoring Drysdale-Daley by nine points for the country's lone qualification spot.
