Binnie and Walters fall in world squash rankings

Despite encouraging showings by Jamaican squash players at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, the Jamaican duo of Chris Binnie and Lewis Walters have fallen in the latest edition of the World Squash Federation rankings. Binnie has fallen six places in the rankings to now be at number 71 in the world.

Previously, the 29 year old was at number 65 in the world which is the highest any Jamaican has been ranked.
Despite his fall, he remains at number one in the Caribbean and number five in the Americas region. Walters fell in the rankings from 260th last month to now be ranked at 358th in the world. The next international assignment for these two players will be the Central American and Caribbean Games in Baranquilla, Colombia in July.
