On a day when the bowlers fought back, the Jamaica Scorpions closed day two of their regional four day clash against the Barbados Pride at 6-0 in their second innings on day two to trail by 69 runs at the Coolidge Cricket Ground. Openers Tevin Gilzene 4 and Leroy Lugg 2, are at the crease.
Resuming the day at 89-2 and trailing the Scorpions by 51 runs, the Pride were dismissed for 215 after recovering from 94-4 following the loss of the opening session due to rain.
Opener Sheyne Moesley carried on to 82 after resuming on 41, while captain Shane Dowrich was left unbeaten on 64.
Patrick Harty Jnr bagged 4-23 to go with two wickets each for Abhijai Mansingh and Marquino Mindley. Ojay Shields and Gordon Bryan were the other wicket takers.

Meanwhile, captain Darren Bravo hit his 13th first class century to put Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in a strong position against Leeward Islands Hurricanes at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
The Red Force got to stumps at 368-8 in their first innings on another rain-affected day. Bravo was dismissed for an even 100 after resuming on 74.
Yanic Cariah made 52 from his overnight 32. Imran Khan is 67 not out, following 51 from Terrence Hinds.
Jeremiah Louis has so far taken 3-52 with two wickets each for Colin Archibald and Sheeno Berridge.
Hosts Windward Islands Volcanoes are in control of their clash against the Guyana Harpy Eagles as they hold a 173 run lead batting a second time in Grenada. At the close they were 48-2.
Resuming the day at 292-8, the Volcanoes were dismissed for 294.
The Harpy Eagles in their first innings reply were 69-6 before faltering to 169 all out. Barbadian Justin Greaves the chief destroyer with 5-24.
